Tiago Henrique Gomes da Rocha is a former Brazilian security guard who has claimed to have killed 39 people.
His youngest victim was a 14-year-old girl killed in January, 2014 and 22 of his victims were women. He targeted girls and women that looked like his girlfriend.
He attempted suicide in his prison cell on 16 October 2014 by slashing his wrists with a smashed light bulb.
Gomes da Rocha said he had been bullied at school: “I was quieter than the other kids. I suffered mental and physical aggression. “I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but these things accumulate inside you.” He also revealed he had been sexually abused by a neighbour when he was eleven years old. He said: “It was for about a month. He threatened to kill me if I told anyone. I've never told anyone.” Asked what he felt the morning after a murder, he replied: “I wasn't happy, no.
